Building Momentum: DCL Joins the London Engineering Community for the First GeN+1 Run of 2026

Our structural and civil engineers at DCL Consulting Engineers Ltd joined the first GeN+1 Run Club of the year.
It was a brilliant opportunity to reconnect with the London engineering community and build some great momentum for the months ahead.
A huge well done to everyone who braved the January weather to get moving and start the year strong.
Drainage shouldn't just be a hidden pipe in the ground. This month, our engineering team attended the Building with Nature and SuDS seminar hosted by FORMA. Learning from Cristina Refolo and Taffeta Gray (Refolo Landscape Architects) reinforced a key philosophy: when nature is at the heart of design, technical requirements become vibrant public spaces. By integrating nature-based SuDS strategies, we're helping our clients build projects that are as sustainable as they are functional. Thanks to Cristina for the masterclass—we’re ready to put these insights into practice!
